About the Campaign

The Campaign for Strathmore will enable us to build on our strengths and take our academic programs and research endeavors to an even higher level. It will focus on what we already do well-and enable us to be exceptional in answering the challenging questions of our time, defining what it means to be a great university in Africa.

The construction of the three buildings is the main component of the University's Phase III development. This phase of development will help Strathmore University double its built surface from 20,190 to 41,190 meters squared. The number of seats in classrooms will increase from 2350 to 4350.

Strathmore has a reputation of being a pioneer institute. We intend to continue being so. The new buildings will be constructed in keeping with the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification, which is a "Green Building" Rating System of the USA. It provides a suite of standards for environmentally sustainable construction.
