Faculty & Staff

Strathmore continued growth is attributed to the unwavering dedication of our staff &faculty, who form an essential part of the Strathmore community. Every day this commitment to excellence is on display confirming the pride and confidence you have for Strathmore. As we look to the future all the evidence supports an outlook of hope, optimism and confidence.

An additional way to demonstrate your pride and commitment is by making your annual gift. By investing in Strathmore with a gift of any size, you are guarantee the continued strength and vitality of our students, faculty and programs. You are also participating in the philanthropic history on which this institution was founded more than 40 years ago. The size of your gift is not nearly as important as the act of giving itself.

In launching the university's campaign, Transforming Africa through Leadership, a primary goal is the continued growth of the endowment, the permanent capital of the university. At Strathmore, the endowment is essential to fueling our innovation. It allows us to seize breakthrough opportunities and attract and retain the best and brightest faculty and students.

As you are well aware that private institutions are not funded by the government it makes it difficult for students who would rather study with us miss out because of financial constraints. So we encourage you to consider a gift to the endowment during the campaign.

Every gift, no matter the amount, makes a lasting impact. In addition to strengthening the university's long-term financial stability with a gift to the endowment, there are other ways in which your gift can make an immediate impact:

  • Provide the university with maximum financial flexibility by earmarking your gift for the endowment fund.
  • Designate your gift to a specific project, school, department or program that is important to you.
  • Establish a monthly gift that's comfortable for you through payroll deduction

Giving is just one way to support Strathmore. Many faculty and staff members are also active as advocates on behalf of the university by helping create links with possible donors. If you know how we can further this support to Strathmore please contact the advancement office.
